The HP StorageWorks Rack-Mount Kits provide a high density, rack-mountable tape drive solution for both direct-attach SCSI, USB, or SAS backup and archiving applications. The Rack-Mount Kit family is ideal for customers who have rack environments and are looking for a tape backup solution with a small footprint. The HP StorageWorks 1U SCSI Rack-Mount Kit supports SCSI-based DAT, Ultrium, and DLT VS internal tape drives. The HP StorageWorks 1U SAS Rack-Mount Kit supports the Ultrium 448 SAS and Ultrium 920 SAS internal tape drives. With two Ultrium 920 tape drives, this enclosure can provide a maximum compressed capacity of 1.6TB with a data transfer rate of up to 864GB/hr. The HP StorageWorks 1U USB Rack-Mount Kit supports DAT 24 USB, DAT 40 USB, DAT 72 USB and DAT 160 USB internal tape drives. With two DAT 160 USB drives, this enclosure solution can provide a maximum compressed capacity of 320GB with a data transfer rate of up to 50GB/hr.
